Common questions
How do I verify my photo?
During sign-up you add a profile photo and take a quick live selfie. We compare the two to confirm it is really you. You need a verified photo to join or host events.
How do I report or block someone?
Press and hold a chat message, or tap a person on an event’s guest list, then choose Report or Block. We review every report within 24 hours.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Profile, then Settings, then Delete account. This erases your name, photos, saved city, favorite activities and messages. It cannot be undone.
Why does the app ask for my location?
To show events near you. If you would rather not share it, you can pick a city instead, and you can turn location on later in the app’s Settings.
Is CanIJoin free?
Yes. Joining and hosting games is free.
Which cities is it in?
We are starting in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. You can start an event anywhere, and people nearby will see it.
Safety concerns
If you feel unsafe at an event, leave and contact local emergency services first. Then report the person in the app, or email us so we can act quickly.
